MysteryDancer.net is dedicated to discovering who Ursula Cheshire was through the clues revealed in an antique photo album I bought on October 12, 2013. I post on an irregular basis, so be sure to subscribe to the blog so that you can receive an e-mail announcing each latest post.
If you’re new to Mystery Dancer, welcome—the best place to start is at the beginning and go from there!
Thanks!

Elizabeth — just discovered your blog, and am very excited to begin following your journey of discovery about Ursula. I have read the first month’s posts, and plan to treat myself to a few each day until I catch up. It sounds as though you and I have similar interests – I also buy old photographs and albums, and I try to locate living descendants (“reverse genealogy”?) in order to get them back into the hands of family. It’s very exciting when there is a reunion. I’m looking forward to following your investigation of Ursula’s life. GREAT BLOG !!

Thanks so much, Mary Beth! Welcome, and I’m glad you found Mystery Dancer. You must have some interesting stories about the reunions. That sounds like a fun and rewarding project. Have you ever written about your experiences? Thanks again, and enjoy the blog. P.S. I’m curious — how did you discover Mystery Dancer?
You’re right – it’s very rewarding to finally track down a relative of the people in the pictures I find. Every single time, they have been so glad and so thrilled to get the photograph. And yes, I do write about it – I have a blog. I have put a link below, if you are interested. I found your blog through Geneabloggers … they listed you this week on their New Blogs entry. I check them out every week, and they have led me to some of my favorites! Keep up the good work!

What a wonderful project and blog! Thank you for sharing it. I can see you really enjoy the detective work, which is also one of the things I love about discovering Ursula’s story. If you ever find yourself in Nashville, let me know — we could have lunch and compare notes!
